Getting here
The exact address is 1700 chemin du Pègue, 26770 Roche-Saint-Secret-Béconne. From the south of the village, along the D538.
The final 500 metres are a sloping dirt track. It is the only drawback that comes up in our reviews, and the reviews contradict each other: “steep but no problem even with a low car” says one, “don't come with a car that sits too low” says another. A city car makes it. A very low-slung vehicle will need care.
Corine welcomes you in person. There is no reception, no key box, no access code. Just let her know roughly what time you expect to arrive — that is all she asks.

Three things our guests taught us
One door frame is low at Le Cèdre. A guest hit her head on it twice. She adds, generously, that “it is understandable in an old house”. Duck as you go in.
Le Cèdre adjoins Corine's own house, but is self-contained: its own entrance, its own terrace, its own garden. If you want complete seclusion, choose Le Buis, a separate building with its own parking.
The bed is 140 cm wide. One guest found it small. It is a standard French double — slightly wider than a UK standard double (4 ft 6 in), not a king size: worth knowing if that matters to you.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the access road difficult?
- The final 500 metres are a sloping dirt track. A city car makes it without trouble. A very low-slung vehicle will need care. It is the only drawback that comes up in our reviews, and the reviews contradict each other.
